Our Game idea is, for now, to show how art can deceive in terms of showing false realities where everything has been manipulated to look better than it actually does. The specific idea, for now, is that you are standing in a perfect environment, just like the paintings from the Romanticism, but with the flip of a switch, you are standing in the Modern Breakthrough, and are shown how it actually looked.
EU Value:
We will work with the EU value of freedom, especially freedom of expression and critical thought. By making players actively question the "authenticity" in art, we will encourage players to critically reflect. This supports democratic values.

Pink: Senses/Simulation

Yellow: Rewriting Reality (showing how it actually was)
Experience Methods:
Experiencing Cultural Heritage: Players will interactively explore two significant art movements, gaining insights into how cultural heritage shapes perceptions.
Games through Culture method:
Integrating historical cultural elements (Romanticism and Modern Breakthrough) directly into the gameplay.
Offering players a new perspective on how art can influence society’s collective understanding of reality and history, promoting thoughtful discussions on culture and its representation.
